Code Monkey Phone System

A VoIP business phone system with SIP calling, ring groups and queues, digital receptionists, browser and Android calling, reporting APIs and call-event webhooks.

VoIP / PBXDigital receptionistREST APIWebhooksTrial implementation

Code Monkey Phone System brings extensions, SIP trunks, call groups, queues and digital receptionists into one browser-managed PBX. Build the call flow around your people: route inbound numbers, set office hours and holidays, play announcements and send unanswered calls to voicemail or an overflow destination.

Teams can use supported SIP desk phones, the browser phone or our Android app. Call controls include mute, hold/resume, transfer and parking, alongside call history, voicemail and recordings. Remote-site bridges connect supported handsets at other locations to the main system.

The reporting REST API exposes retained calls, recordings, transcripts, people, group membership and statistics through revocable bearer keys, with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and paginated date-filtered results. Incoming-call and routing webhooks send events to configured HTTPS receivers, with an outbox, retries and delivery status. Reporting keys grant read access; they do not change configuration or control calls.

Optional provider integrations generate spoken announcements and transcribe recordings or voicemail when configured. Configuration and stored media use application-level encrypted MongoDB/GridFS storage. The current implementation is intended for trial deployments: confirm the handsets, provider trunks, conversational audio and network behaviour before a production rollout. Attended transfers, conference rooms, supervisor controls and multi-instance failover remain future work.
