Vantage

Vantage is a commercial, on-premises video platform that runs on your own hardware — footage never leaves site. It ingests live streams from many sources (RTSP, RTMP, SRT and UniFi Protect, Dahua or Hikvision NVRs), presents them as named, map-located cameras, and gives your team a multi-user web UI — on desktop and mobile — for sub-second live viewing, PTZ, recording and AI.

It's built to scale: a single installation handles 256+ concurrent camera streams by spreading the load across worker nodes, while one hub holds the map, users, rules and recording index. The browser streams WebRTC straight from the node, and access is enforced on the video path itself — not just in the UI.

• Recording — continuous, manual click-to-record, or event-triggered with pre-roll and post-roll

• Users, groups & per-camera grants — view, PTZ, playback and export, granted per camera or by group and enforced on the video path
• Personal camera names — each user can privately rename cameras to suit them; light and dark themes throughout
